Is Qualia Mind really worth your money?
Qualia Mind Review
Qualia Mind is a nootropic supplement, developed by Neurohacker Collective. This is a young company that already made a significant mark in the nootropic industry with its first product, 2-step Qualia, which doesn’t exist anymore.
Qualia Mind, however, is its way more popular successor. This supplement provides a whole lot of benefits, such as:
- It improves your brain fog
- It boosts your energy
- It enhances your focus and attention
- It helps you get into the flow
- It provides nutrients for healthy brain functioning
It seems to be a very effective product, but is it safe for long-term use? And does it bring all the promised benefits?
Here is what we found out.

During our first overview of this supplement, we though that Qualia must provide at least a mild effect, but we were worried about the potential side effects.
So we decided to do more detailed research to understand it better. Besides some of the essential vitamins you can find in Qualia Mind, it contains a whole range of various nootropics.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine – 500 mg
Athletes often use ALCAR to boost their physical performance. This amino acid can cross the blood-brain barrier, which increases its potential to affect our mitochondria positively. Qualia contains 500 mg of ALCAR, which is the lowest effective amount.
Artichoke Leaf Extract – 500 mg
Artichoke contains Luteolin, which is a compound known to inhibit PDE4. This enzyme can break down cAMP in our brains, which should improve brain cell signaling. But we lack studies to confirm how effective Artichoke extract really is.
Bacopa Monnieri – 300 mg
Bacopa Monnieri is a great nootropic for improving memory and overall cognition. As an adaptogenic herb, it can make us less stressed. 300 mg of Bacopa Monnieri is a perfect dosage.
Rhodiola Rosea Extract – 300 mg
Rhodiola Rosea is another adaptogenic herb in this nootropic stack that works as an anxiolytic. It can enhance your cognitive performance, and it can make us less stressed.
DL-Phenylalanine – 300 mg
Phenylalanine may be effective in decreasing the symptoms of depression, which is probably the reason why Neurohacker Collective added it to their formula. Sadly, we don’t know how useful this amino acid is.
Uridine Monophosphate – 250 mg
Uridine Monophosphate is an interesting nootropic compound that can enhance our learning ability. Sadly, this nootropic lacks studies to confirm how effective it is. The recommended daily dosage is between 500 – 1000 mg, so Qualia probably lacks a bit of it for the right results.
N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine – 250 mg
L-Tyrosine is another amino acid that athletes often use. Besides, it is getting more popular with people who have stressful work. It is the most effective if you take it just before a stressful activity starts, so we don’t really see it as an effective long-term nootropic, but it is a great addon.
Taurine – 200 mg
Taurine is an organic acid that can provide anti-oxidant effects, which makes it so popular. It is not a typical nootropic, but great for overall health.
L-Theanine – 200 mg
L-Theanine is one of our favorite nootropics, especially if it is combined with caffeine. This amino acid makes us more relaxed and focused. 200 mg of L-Theanine is an optimal daily dosage.
Alpha-GPC – 200 mg
Alpha-GPC is one of the best sources of choline, which increases the levels of acetylcholine. This neurotransmitter is responsible for better learning.
Citicoline As Cognizin – 150 mg
Citicoline is our favorite choline source that works similarly to Alpha-GPC. We don’t know why there are both nootropic compounds in this supplement – if we could choose one, we would go with citicoline. However, we would add a bit higher dosage of this powerful compound.
Mucuna Pruriens Seed – 100 mg
Mucuna Pruriens is a bean that can increase testosterone production. Besides, it may boost dopamine, noradrenaline, and adrenaline, while it should decrease levels of cortisol. Having higher levels of testosterone may enhance our focus.
Phosphatidylserine – 100 mg
Phosphatidylserine (PS) is an amino acid derivative compound that is naturally found in high-amount in our brain. It is often supplemented because it can enhance our overall cognition and improve brain signaling.
Theobromine – 100 mg
Theobromine is a stimulant that is found in cocoa. It is about 10x weaker than caffeine, so don’t expect significant benefits from it.
Caffeine – 90 mg
Caffeine is the world’s most widely used stimulant and one of our favorite nootropics. 90 mg of caffeine, combined with 200 mg of L-Theanine is an almost perfect combo for getting an energy kick.
DHA – 80 mg
DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that is found in fish oil. It is a compound that is often used for improving overall cognition, brainpower, and decreasing depression.
Celastrus Paniculatus Seed Extract – 60 mg
Celastrus paniculatus is one of the less researched nootropics that is rarely found in a nootropic supplement. It is a tree that has potentially very potent seeds that can be used for improving cognition. However, we lack studies to confirm its effects.
Ginkgo Biloba – 50 mg
Ginkgo Biloba is a popular nootropic that is especially recommended for older people since it has been shown that it can slow down memory loss and cognitive decline. Its positive effects on younger people still have to be confirmed.
Coleus forskohlii – 20 mg
Coleus forskohlii is an herb that has been used in Ayurvedic medicine. It contains forskolin, which is the main bioactive compound in this herb. It is often used to boost testosterone in men. Also, this compound may protect against cancer and provide anti-inflammatory benefits.
Pyrroloquinoline Quinone – 10 mg
Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) is a potent anti-oxidant that can dramatically reduce inflammation in our bodies. It is an excellent compound for overall well-being and health.
Huperzine-A is a cognitive-enhancing compound that can inhibit an enzyme that degrades acetylcholine. As we mentioned before, this neurotransmitter is crucial for optimal learning. 5 mg of Huperzine-A is a very high dosage of this compound, especially since you need to cycle it regularly.
Our Opinion About The Formula
Neurohacker suggests taking around 7 capsules of Qualia Mind per day. The reason for such an amount is 28 nootropics combined in this stack.
So we did a few tests by taking from 5-9 capsules of Qualia Mind in the morning. We tried them on an empty stomach, but we felt better when we took the capsules with breakfast.
In general, capsules are of average size, so swallowing them shouldn’t be a big issue, but it’s not the best experience.
After a couple of tests, we saw a noticeable boost in our energy, focus, and mood improvement about 30-45 minutes after we took the capsules. Qualia delivers a smooth and steady energy kick, which helped us fall into the working flow.
It is a great feeling that makes working easier and more productive.
During our tests, we noticed no particular side effects. After a couple of days of taking Qualia Mind, we wanted to take a day or two off just because we didn’t want to retake so many capsules.
Our overall experience with Qualia Mind was great!
Qualia Mind Dosage
As we mentioned before, the recommended daily dosage is 7 capsules of Qualia Mind. While this sounds a lot, it really isn’t that much if you consider that Qualia contains 28 compounds.
We recommend taking Qualia in the morning with breakfast. Do not take the capsules after 2-3 PM since they contain caffeine.
Do consult your doctor before supplementing it.
Qualia Mind Side Effects
When we talk about Qualia Mind, many people worry about the short- and long-term side effects. Is Qualia Mind safe?
Firstly, we noticed no adverse short-term side effects when taking Qualia. When we looked at the experience of others, we saw pretty much the same feedback with only a few exceptions.
We believe Qualia Mind is so smartly designed, that short-term effects should be rare.
The more significant issue is potential long-term side effects. As you know, Qualia Mind contains Huperzine-A, which needs to be cycled. We are not sure how would optimal cycling look like, but based on the current research, it is recommended to take a break from Huperzine-A every 2-4 weeks.
If you don’t do that, you can expect side effects such as headaches, confusion, loss of motivation, memory issues, etc.
We also don’t really understand how do all combined nootropics influence your brain in the long-term. The science is sound, and we believe that with more experience and feedback, we will be able to be more confident.
Until further research is done, Qualia Mind is one of the best nootropic stacks on the market.
